graduated in South Africa in 1988. He practiced in South Africa and in England before moving to Canada. He has worked in both hospitals and in private clinics.

Cal acquired his certificate to practice acupuncture from the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada in 1996 and has since successfully incorporated acupuncture into his practice.

Cal has served as Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Alberta Faculty of Rehabilitation. He remains a preceptor to students in the School of Health Sciences at Red Deer College. He has also successfully completed certification in Diagnostic Imaging through the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (University of Alberta)

When not at work, Cal enjoys watching his teenage children engage in their sports – hockey, soccer, figure skating and lacrosse to name a few. His Bichon, Kiki, also begs for daily walks and Cal is sure to oblige.

Credentialled as a Referee Instructor with Alberta Soccer Association also sees him busy with the soccer program throughout the year. A passion for golf has him hitting the links any chance he can get.

Recently certifying as a GLA:D provider brings Cal closer to his desire of seeing clients active through all phases of life from childhood to Old Age. The major expansion at their clinic together with the addition of massage therapist, physiotherapist, and kinesiologist allows Cal to work with a growing member and therapist.
